TS PGECET counselling dates 2020: Process of admissions into M Tech colleges begin

Finally, the wait for TS PGECET counselling dates 2020 ended as process of admission into M Tech colleges in Telangana State began.

Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), Hyderabad issued notification for TS PGECET and TS PGEC 2020 admissions.

As per the notification, both students who cleared GATE/GPAT and TS PGECET qualified candidates can appear for the admission into M Tech colleges in Telangana State.

However, TS PGECET qualified candidates must remember that seat left after allotment to students who cleared GATE/GPAT will be allotted to them.

Eligibility for TS PGECET, TS PGEC counselling

In order to appear for the counselling, the candidates have to satisfy eligibility condition. They must be Indian and belong to Telangana State or Andhra Pradesh.

They must have secured at least 50 percent marks in the qualifying examination. However, in case of reserved category students, it is at least 45 percent marks.

Eligible candidates have to register online on TSCHE website.

On 27th November, the list of candidates who have registered online for the counselling will be displayed on the website.

Candidates can exercise their web option on 28th and 29th November 2020. During the exercise, they have to disclose the choice of their course along with the name of the college or university.

On 2nd December, college wise list of candidates who got seats will be placed on the website.

After the release of the list, candidates have to report their colleges along with original certificates and Tuition Fee payment challan between 2nd and 5th December 2020.

However, the commencement of the class work is scheduled to begin on 7th December 2020.

TS PGECET cutoff ranks for M Tech in OU

Predicting TS PGECET cutoff ranks for M Tech admission in OU is highly impossible as every year it keeps on changing. However, it can be said that usually GATE qualified candidates get admission into M Tech courses in OU.

With TS PGECET rank, usually, candidates belonging to reserved categories only get admission into M Tech in OU.

That means, chances of candidates from unreserved categories getting admission into M Tech courses of OU through TS PGECET is very less (near to negligible).
