Charminar: My visit to one of the historical monuments of Hyderabad

I have visited one of the historical monuments of Hyderabad, Charminar in the month of January 2020. Today, I will share my experience at the monument.

Note: Currently (13th June 2020), authorities closed the monument for public due to pandemic

How to reach Charminar

I took a cab to reach Charminar. There are different modes of transportation available to reach the monument.

However, no mode of transportation can take anyone very close to the monument. Persons have to walk on foot to cover a distance of a few meters.

After reaching there, one has to buy ticket to enter inside.

Cost of ticket, timing to enter Charminar

The cost of a ticket to enter Charminar is different for Indians and foreigners. It is Rs. 25 for Indians whereas, foreigners has to pay Rs. 300.

Timing for the public is 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

You can enter the monument by climbing the designated stairs. Old aged persons cannot climb the stairs as they are very small.
